This chapter describes the hardware, operating system, software, and database requirements for installing Oracle Communications Delegated Administrator.
Delegated Administrator is installed in a web container. It uses an LDAP database for data storage.
Table 3-1 lists operating systems that support Delegated Administrator.

The number and configuration of the systems that you employ for your Delegated Administrator installation depends on the scale and the kind of deployment you have planned.
Note:
The sizing estimates in this section assume proper application configuration and tuning, in a manner consistent with leading practices of Oracle Communications consulting and performance engineering. This information is provided for informational purposes only and is not intended to be, nor shall it be construed as a commitment to deliver Oracle programs or services. You understand that information contained in this document will not be a part of any agreement for Oracle programs and services. Business parameters and operating environments vary substantially from customer to customer and as such not all factors, which may impact sizing, have been accounted for in this documentation. The memory and disk space requirements for Delegated Administrator on a single managed server in a GlassFish Server domain are the same as those of the web container to which Delegated Administrator is deployed. For information about the web container's hardware requirements, see the current release notes for this component.
The following components, tools, and LDAP schema version are required for this release of Delegated Administrator.
To enforce unique values for mail attributes, you must install one of these releases:
Oracle Directory Server Enterprise Edition 11gR1
Oracle Directory Server Enterprise Edition 7
Directory Server 6.x
During Delegated Administrator installation, you must enter values for configuration items such as host names and port numbers. This section shows the information that you must provide during the installation and initial configuration process.
Table 3-3 shows a configuration worksheet. Print and fill out this worksheet to use when responding to the config-commda script configuration options. You use config-commda to configure Delegated Administrator console and utility.
Note:
Support for Access Manager is deprecated. For more information, see Access Manager Support Deprecation in Unified Communications Suite Release Notes.Table 3-3 config-commda Script Configuration Options
