Prerequisite Products

The following products are prerequisites for Oracle Commerce Platform 11.2 and may require licenses:

Oracle Commerce Content Acquisition System

A license to the Oracle Commerce Platform includes a restricted-use license to the following components of the Content Acquisition System (CAS) of Oracle Commerce Guided Search:

CAS Server

Component Instance Manager

Record Stores

CAS Extension API

The foregoing list of CAS components may be run without restriction on the number of physical or virtual servers or amount of content processed. The CAS components are separately installed by running the CAS installer included with Oracle Commerce Guided Search and selecting No when prompted to install the CAS Console. Use of the CAS Console is not included in the restricted-use license. You have no further rights to use Oracle Commerce Guided Search unless you have separately licensed the product.

Oracle WebLogic Server Standard Edition

You may use the version of Oracle WebLogic Server Standard Edition bundled with the Oracle Commerce Platform to run Oracle Commerce Platform applications only. The Oracle Commerce Platform and the products it contains may be modified, extended, or integrated with external systems through the use of custom Java development. If you develop custom Java applications that do not extend, modify, or integrate Oracle Commerce Platform applications, you must have a full-use license.

Oracle JavaScript Extension Toolkit

Oracle JavaScript Extension Toolkit (JET) is a component of Oracle Commerce Platform. Use of JET is restricted to rendering the Oracle Commerce Platform web based user interface.

Oracle Commerce ACC

Prerequisite Products

A license for Oracle Commerce Platform is a prerequisite for using Oracle Commerce ACC 11.2. Versions of Oracle Commerce Platform other than 11.2 may not function properly with this product.

Oracle Commerce Assisted Selling Application

Prerequisite Products

A license for Oracle Commerce Platform is a prerequisite for using Oracle Commerce Assisted Selling Application 11.2. Versions of Oracle Commerce Platform other than 11.2 may not function properly with this product.

Oracle Commerce Reference Store

Prerequisite Products

A license for Oracle Commerce Platform is a prerequisite for using Oracle Commerce Reference Store 11.2. Versions of Oracle Commerce Platform other than 11.2 may not function properly with this product.

Oracle Commerce Store Accelerator

Prerequisite Products

Oracle Commerce and CPQ Reference Integration

Prerequisite Products

A license for Oracle Commerce Platform is a prerequisite for using this integration. Versions of Oracle Commerce Platform other than 11.2 may not function properly with this integration.

A subscription to Oracle CPQ Cloud is a prerequisite for using this integration.

Oracle Commerce and Responsys Reference Integration

A license for Oracle Commerce Platform is a prerequisite for using this integration. Versions of Oracle Commerce Platform other than 11.2 may not function properly with this integration.
