Oracle Exalytics In-Memory Machine is an engineered solution that includes a memory-centric hardware platform, proven in-memory technology from Oracle TimesTen, and an optimized version of Oracle Business Intelligence Foundation Suite functionality.

These release notes describe known issues and workarounds for Oracle Exalytics In-Memory Machine and apply to:

Impacted Releases 1.0.0.3

This issue is fixed in Oracle Exalytics In-Memory Machine Installation and Administration Guide for Oracle Solaris (E49608-01).

Chapter 2, Section 2.2 "Configuring an Exalytics Machine for Virtualization" contains incorrect procedure for configuring an Exalytics Machine for virtualization. Replace that procedure with the following procedure:

Tasks to configure the T5-8 Exalytics Machine for virtualization are performed by Oracle Advance Customer Services (ACS). Do not attempt to configure the T5-8 Exalytics Machine for virtualization manually without the assistance of Oracle ACS.

2.7.2 Oracle Exalytics In-Memory Machine T5-8 Owner's Guide

This section describes documentation errata in Oracle Exalytics In-Memory Machine T5-8 Owner's Guide.
