Overriding an ACG or SMART Award through Professional Judgement
When you award ACG and SMART awards to students through the Professional Judgement (PJ) page:
The system uses the ACG/SMART HERA academic level tied to the Financial Aid Item Type setup to make an ACG or SMART award.
You can award multiple ACG or SMART awards to a student regardless of the student's true ACG/SMART eligibility.
An ACG/SMART Eligibility Record is not required.
The HERA Academic Level on the FA Term record for ACG or /SMART awards is not required.
The system considers no other ACG/SMART eligibility edits, such as FA Term Beginning of Term (BOT) level or FA Term Load.
This section describes how to award ACG and SMART grants using Professional Judgement.
