In the IDE SchemaObjects have navigator nodes which use URLs as identifiers. Given a provider and object a unique URL can be created to use to find or create that Node. This factory is used to create urls for SchemaObjects. Different provider implementations (or navigator implementations) can register to be the provider of URLs.

Register a Helper class that provides URLs for provider objects.

Parameters:

h - the helper to add to the list of registered helpers

registerTemporaryHelper

removeHelper

Removes the registered Helper from the factory.

h - the helper to remove from the registered list

getURL

public static java.net.URL getURL(DBObjectProvider pro,
                  SystemObject obj)

Gets the URL for the given SystemObject and DBObjectProvider. This will find the registered URLHelper for the given DBObjectProvider and request the object's URL from it.

Parameters:

pro - the containing DBObjectProvider

obj - the object to get a URL for

Returns:

the URL for the object's node in its default navigator in the IDE, or null if the provider is not recognized.

getURL

Gets a URL for the Node in the IDE that represents the given DBObjectProvider.

getURL

Gets a URL for the Node in the IDE that represents the DBObjectProvider with the given ID.
