Determines whether the specified Drop event describes a Resource.

Parameters:

dtde - the Drop event

Returns:

whether the object being dropped is a Resource

isResource

Determines whether the specified Drag event describes a Resource.

Parameters:

dtde - the Drag event

Returns:

whether the object being dragged is a Resource

acceptDrop

public static int acceptDrop(java.awt.dnd.DropTargetDropEvent dtde,
             int actions)

Accepts or rejects a drop onto a drop target based on a set of supported actions. The drop must be from the same VM and contain a flavor supported by the target for it to be accepted.

Parameters:

dtde - the DropTargetDropEvent describing the drop event

actions - the set of allowable actions

Returns:

the set of actions from the drop that were accepted, or ACTION_NONE if the drop was rejected

acceptDrag

Accepts or rejects a drag over a drop target based on a set of supported actions.

Parameters:

dtde - the DropTargetDragEvent that describes the drag

supportedActions - the set of supported actions

Returns:

the actions for which the drag has been accepted, or ACTION_NONE if the drag was rejected

addConnection

public static java.lang.String addConnection(java.awt.datatransfer.Transferable trans,
                             javax.naming.Context appContext)
                                      throws javax.naming.NamingException

Adds the connection associated with a Resource to an Application. A Transferable representing a drag from the Resource Navigator is used to determine the Resource and Connection. The specified Application is checked to see if a connection of the same name already exists. If one does, then the connections are checked to see if they are equal. If they are not, the user will be prompted for a new name.

Parameters:

trans - the Transferable from the drop operation

appContext - the Context describing where the connection should be added

Returns:

the name of the connection as it was actually added. This will be different from the connection name in the Resource Navigator if the user chose to rename a connection based on a name conflict.

Throws:

javax.naming.NamingException

addConnection
