Change Concept Properties


After completing this topic, you will be able to change Concept properties in the Properties toolpane.


Steps:

  1. Display the Properties toolpane.

     

    Click the View menu.

  2. Point to the Panes menu.

  3. Click the Properties button.

  4. Click the Printing a Document topic.

  5. When you change properties from the Outline Editor, the changes apply to the document selected in the outline, not to the concept linked to the selected document.

     

    In the Outline Editor, you can use the drop-down list at the top of the Properties toolpane to switch between viewing Document and Concept properties.

  6. Click the View list at the top of the Properties toolpane.

  7. The Document option, which is the default, shows the properties for the selected document in the outline.

     

    The Concept option displays the properties for the web page or package linked to the selected document as a concept.

  8. Change the view to Concept or Web Page.

     

    Click the Web Page.

  9. The properties in the toolpane now affect the document linked as a concept.

  10. Assign a Draft state to the web page.

     

    Click in the State field.

  15. Change the Properties view to Concept or Package.

     

    Click the Concept.

  16. Assign a Final state to the Concept.

     

    Click in the State field.
