Manage Halt Points Dialog

Manages the system halt points that are available on the Oracle FS System. A halt point set for a software component causes the system to pause the startup sequence at a step associated with that component to enable troubleshooting and diagnostics.
Caution
Use system halt points for troubleshooting purposes only. System halt points are used to gather information or to clear conditions that cannot otherwise be accomplished. Never set or clear halt points without assistance from Oracle Customer Support. Only the Primary administrator and the Support administrator can manage system halt points.
Active

Indicates whether the startup process is to halt at the indicated step for this software component.

Order

Identifies where in the startup sequence the software component step is to be executed.

Paused on Halt Point

Indicates the step at which the startup sequence is halted.

Component Name

Identifies the name of the software component that is associated with the system halt point. The system lists the components in the normal startup sequence.

Step

Identifies the name of the software component step where the halt point is to occur. The system lists the steps in the normal startup sequence.

Clear

Deselects all of the selected halt points that appear in the Paused on Halt Point field.
