Upgrade Paths to Staged Package Dialog

Navigation: Support > Software and Firmware > Actions > View Upgrade Paths to Staged Package

Displays staged software which is the last version of software you staged. The version could be lower or the version could be a non-software firmware only package. When you upload a software package, if the upload and the internal staging of the software by the system was successful, that version is listed here. That version is ready to be installed on the system from the Update Software panel. The information also indicates if the upgrade causes Pilot or data disruption.
Package Version

Indicates the version of the staged package and the upgrade paths to that package. This might not include the current installed package. Also the version of the staged package might not be available for installation if the compatibility matrix does not allow the upgrade due to hardware incompatibility.

Pilot Disruption Required

  • Yes: Indicates that the upgrade interrupts data access and the upgrade should be performed during a maintenance period.

  • No: Indicates that the software upgrade does not disrupt data access.
