Install Oracle FS System Software (MSI)

After you download the Windows installer for Oracle FS System Manager (GUI) or Oracle MaxMan, install the files onto the workstation by running the Microsoft Windows installation package.

Note: Verify that you are permitted to run an automatic installation.

Locate the client software file on the workstation.
For an automatic installation on Microsoft Windows platforms, the file extension is .msi.

*_x64.msi

For 64‑bit hardware

*_x86.msi

For 32‑bit hardware
Double‑click the file to begin the installation.
Follow the instructions for the installation.

When the installation is complete, the following objects are created:

Oracle FS System Manager: A shortcut on the Windows desktop that permits you to run Oracle FS System Manager.
Oracle MaxMan: A shortcut on the Windows desktop that permits you to run Oracle MaxMan.
c:\Program Files\Oracle Corporation: A directory that stores all of the files that are necessary to run Oracle FS System Manager and Oracle MaxMan.
