Modify an Event Notification

You can modify the properties of an event notification. For example, for a given notification, you can change the events that are monitored or the email address to which the notification is sent.

  1. Navigate to System > Alerts and Events > Event Notification.
  2. Select the name of the event notification that you want to modify.
  3. Select Actions > Modify.
  4. (Optional) Enter a new name for the event notification.
  5. (Optional) Enter a new description for the event notification.
  6. (Optional) Update the Event Notification Recipient Email Addresses list.
    Possible choices:
    • To add an email recipient, click Add.

    • To remove an email recipient, click Remove.

  7. (Optional) Select new event categories or severities to monitor.
  8. Click OK.
