Modify LUN: Define Mapping by Selected Host Entries

You might need to modify the LUN mapping properties of a host entry when the host is offline (for example, for maintenance).

  1. Navigate to SAN > Storage > LUNs.
  2. Select the LUN that you want to modify.
  3. Select Actions > Modify.
  4. From the Mapping tab, select the host mapping to modify, and then click Modify.
  5. From the Modify LUN Number dialog, select a new LUN to map for this LUN, then click OK.
Tip: If network clients are running on Windows 2000 or 2003 platforms, and you want those clients to be able to access the LUN, do not select LUN number 255.
  6. To save your changes, click OK.

If the host entry that you want to allow access to the LUN is not displayed in the list, add the host entry by associating the host initiator to the host entry.
