Modify iSCSI Port Settings

You can change the default values of the iSCSI port settings. For example, you might need to change the maximum transmission unit (MTU) of a port in one of the Controllers.

The default action that the Oracle FS System uses for all iSCSI ports is to interpret the IP address, the subnet mask, and the gateway address using Dynamic Host Configuration Protocol (DHCP). If you want to assign these values manually, modify each port with the values that you want to use.
  1. Navigate to System > Global Settings > Controller Ports.
  2. From the Controller Ports overview page, select either a slot or a port that you want to modify.
  3. Select Actions > Modify Port Settings.
  4. Make any necessary changes.
  5. Click OK.
