Register an Oracle FS System with the VDS Provider

After you install the Oracle FS Virtual Disk Service Provider software, you can register additional Oracle FS Systems with the software.

Prerequisite

Installed Oracle FS Virtual Disk Service Provider plug-in
You need the following information to register each Oracle FS System with the Oracle FS Virtual Disk Service Provider plug-in:
- System serial number
- Login account: user name
- Login account: password

The Oracle FS Virtual Disk Service Provider installs a utility that adds and removes Windows registry entries for the Oracle FS System.

Start a command prompt from your workstation.
Change the directory to the bin folder of the VDS provider installation.
(Optional) To view a list of acceptable usage options, type registerAxiom.
To register a Oracle FS System, type registerAxiom sample-serial user-name user-password.
Note: Enter the required information in the order listed.
(Optional) To remove the registered Oracle FS System, type registerAxiom sample-serial.
