Included and Prerequisite Products

Certain Oracle products may need other Oracle products to be installed as a prerequisite for their operation or they may include licenses to other Oracle products. Table 3 provides detailed information on inclusions, prerequisites and special product notes for such products. There are three columns: the first column provides the product name, the second column provides a list of any separately licensed products that are included (and therefore do not have to be purchased separately for this user) and the third column describes any prerequisites or requirements for other licensed products to ensure the customer is ordering a complete solution.

Unless noted otherwise each user of the licensed program requires the products listed as prerequisites. If the note, "(>=1)" is given the customer need only purchase one license of the prerequisite to cover the requirement. In this case each user of the Licensed Program does not require a license for the Prerequisite, but the customer must own some number of this license. Also, if the prerequisite is for a product with a per Customer, per Processor or per Computer metric, the requirement is covered with one license. All other instances infer that each user requires the prerequisite. Product requirements for a CRM product, like Siebel eService or Siebel Partner Portal is satisfied with any of the Siebel Industry versions of that product.

There are no technology products included with Siebel licenses. Any required technology, Oracle or otherwise, must be licensed separately.
