  • When querying for the cleansed version of the source data, Oracle Customer Hub (UCM) does a query for the cleansed record and does not find it.
  • When querying the business component within the Deduplication business object, Oracle Customer Hub (UCM) queries for the field used in deduplication and does not find the field.
  • When cleaning the selected data in the business component within the deduplication business object, Oracle Customer Hub (UCM) does a query for the business component record and does not find a record.
  • When clearing the Oracle Customer Hub (UCM) source table Duplicate flag, Oracle Customer Hub (UCM) does a query for the duplicate record and does not find it.

Unable to query Best Version record from base table while preparing the history record. This might be because no record is satisfying the user key in IO. For example, similar fields are not present in the input, or fields are empty in input).

Make sure the incoming record contains either a Party_UID or Row_Id or both. If any of these ID values are supplied, then check that there is only one matching record in the SDH tables with that value.

When linking the SDH record to the best version record, unable to update Best Version ID in the SDH record in the SDH table.It might be because no user key fields are in the input.

The unmerge operation failed. The parent record was not found. This error might have occurred because the parent record was deleted.

Unmerge complete: Deletion of last unmerged children for SDH Id %1 from merge table failed for Object %2

The unmerge process completed successfully, but the children records were not deleted. Deleting the child records from the merge table has failed. It is most likely that you have to resolve a database problem.

Review the Oracle Customer Hub (UCM) log files for messages on why the child records were not deleted. You must work with your database administrator to manually delete the child records from the database. The SQL statement is in the following format:

DELETE FROM <tbo>.S_UCM_XXX_MERGE WHERE UCM_XXX_ID=<ID value from message>

Do the following:

  • If you are working with accounts, then substitute XXX with ORG.
  • If you are working with contacts, then substitute XXX with CON.

Unmerge complete: Updating unmerged record to Unmerge state failed for SDH Id %1 for Object %2

The unmerge process completed successfully, but the victim record status was not changed from Merged to Unmerged. It is most likely that you have to resolve a database problem.

Review the application log files for detailed messages on why the status was not updated. You must work with your database administrator to manually update the status value in the database.

If you are working with accounts, then the SQL statement is as follows:

UPDATE <tbo>.S_UCM_CONTACT SET UCM_TYPE_CD='Unmerged' WHERE ROW_ID=<ID value from message>

If you are working with contacts, then then SQL statement is as follows:

Given the following relationships for a hierarchy H (Accnt, Parent Accnt):(A, B) and (B, D), the relationship (B, D) is invalid because Account D is not in the relationship. Account D might not exist.

Verify that the relationship between the accounts identified in the error message is valid and that both accounts exist before copying the account hierarchy.

Oracle Customer Hub (UCM) failed to find an existing record for an incoming message.

A business service failed to process the record. The SDH ID is the row ID of the Incomplete status record in the History version.

Go to the Oracle Customer Hub (UCM) Administration screen, Transaction History View, and search for records with an incomplete status. Find the row ID of those records, and check the log file for the error message to determine the cause of the error.

Publishing the merge operation (for the data steward) failed in Oracle Customer Hub (UCM). It might be because of an internal error in the message structure or the publish subscribe service.

Check if there is a problem with the message or publish subscribe service.

IDS_UCM_MISSING_REQUESTER_ID

%1 Failed to find Business Service User Property RequesterSystemId for SOAP input.

A business service failed to find the user property, RequesterSystemId, for the SOAP input.

An informational message. No action is required.

IDS_UCM_MESSAGE_TYPE

%1 Failed to find input Message Type.

A business service failed to determine the input message type. Without a valid message type, Publish/Subscribe method fails.

Make sure the input sent is a valid CRMML or a SOAP message. Two message types are supported:

  • Customer Relationship Management Markup Language (CRMML)
  • Simple Object Access Protocol (SOAP)

IDS_UCM_ERR_MISSING_MIDDLEWARE_INFO

%1 Failed to find required Transport parameters for Middleware System.

A business service failed to find the required input transport parameters for the middleware system. It cannot find the proper connect information for the middleware system. Without the connect parameters to the middleware system, the Publish and Subscribe functionality fails.

Make sure the transport type and the connect information are provided for the middleware system in the Systems Registration-CIF Administration screen.

IDS_UCM_XR_MISSING_XREF_RECS

%1 Failed to find cross-reference records in input instance.

A business service failed to find cross-reference records in the input integration object instance.

Make sure at least one cross-reference record is present in the input message.

IDS_UCM_XR_PARENT_ID_NOT_QUERIED

%1 Failed to find Id in queried parent record.

A business service failed to find the ID field in the parent record being queried.

Make sure the ID field is configured for the root component in the integration object definition.

IDS_UCM_XR_QUERY_PARENT_FAILED

%1 Failed to query the parent record.

A business service found zero or multiple records matching the parent record in the input integration object instance.

Make sure valid parent user key fields are present in the input message and the corresponding record exists in Oracle Customer Hub (UCM).

IDS_UCM_XR_QUERY_XREF_REC_FAILED

%1 Operation failed for cross-reference record which is not found.

A business service failed to complete the operation because the cross-reference record does not exist in Oracle Customer Hub (UCM).

Make sure valid cross-reference fields are present in the input message and the corresponding record exists in Oracle Customer Hub (UCM).

IDS_UCM_ERR_TOO_MANY_MIDDLEWARE

%1 :Validated the list of registered systems. Too many Middleware Systems found.

Validating the list of registered systems first.

Make sure that there is only one middleware system.

IDS_UCM_ERR_COMMIT_MIDDLEWARE

%1 :Cannot commit record as a Middleware System is already found.

More than one middleware system is not supported.

Undo the current record because more than one middleware system cannot be supported.

IDS_UCM_ERR_MIDDLEWARE_MSG

%1 :Middleware System cannot subscribe for CRMML message type.

The middleware system cannot subscribe to CRMML messages.

Undo the current record.

IDS_UCM_XMIDDLEWARE_PROTOCOL
