Process of Integrating with the Virtual CTI Driver
To implement an integration using the Virtual CTI driver, you must carry out the following tasks:
- Configure the Virtual CTI driver.

- Create a communications configuration for Oracle Contact On Demand and the Virtual CTI driver.
For more information about creating communications configurations, Configuring Siebel CTI including Creating or Modifying a Communications Configuration.
For information about commands and events for this configuration, see Virtual CTI Driver Commands and Virtual CTI Driver Events. See also Configuring Events and Commands.
- Specify agents and telesets for your communications configuration. Perform the following administration steps:
- Enter the Oracle Contact On Demand agent's Agent Login and Password for each Siebel agent.
- Associate one dummy teleset with each agent.

NOTE: The Virtual CTI driver can only be used on the Microsoft Windows platform.
