If you configure CPU pinning for a running virtual machine with
the ovm_vmcontrol
command line script, the
script returns a success message. The Oracle VM Web Services API and
vm.cfg
file for the virtual machine display
the values that you set for the physical threads to which the
virtual CPUs (vCPU) for the virtual machine are bound. However,
the changes do not take effect on Oracle VM Server. As a result, the
output for the xm vcpu-list command displays
unchanged values.
Workaround: There is no workaround for this issue.
