In Oracle Communications Unified Inventory Management (UIM), products and services are closely related. Products are marketed and sold to customers, whereas services are provided to support the product. Products and services represent the commercial and technical aspects of the inventory: products represent the commercial view, and the corresponding services represent the technical view.
