Associate Hosts Dialog

Navigation: SAN > Storage > Hosts > Actions > Associate Hosts

Enables the Oracle FS System to recognize Fibre Channel (FC) hosts that do not have Oracle FS Path Manager installed.

Host Name: Identifies the SAN host that accesses LUNs or Clone LUNs configured on the Oracle FS System.

Create Association

Specifies the name of the SAN initiator that is used for the SAN host association.

Valid options:

Specify WWN: Specifies the Fibre Channel port world-wide name (WWN) that the Oracle FS System has not discovered.
Select from discovered WWNs: Specifies the list Fibre Channel port WWNs that the Oracle FS System discovered on the network.

Associations

Type: Identifies the type of initiator that is associated with the SAN host entry.
HBA Alias: Identifies an alternative friendly name that is assigned to the host port.
Device / HBA Port Name: Identifies the name of the device or initiator that is associated with the SAN host entry.

Controls

Remove: Deletes the selected objects.
