Displays the software and firmware packages currently installed on the Drive Enclosures, Controllers, and Pilots.

Other information includes listing of all software and firmware packages staged for an upgrade and whether a given software module applies to current hardware installed n the system.

Software Update Scheduled

Note: The Software Update Scheduled information appears only if there is an active software update scheduled. The Scheduled Software Update allows you to update the software at a later time.

Task Name: Identifies the type of scheduled task: Software Update.
Scheduled Start Time: Indicates the date and time of the schedule software update.
Cancel Scheduled Update: Allows you to remove the scheduled software update.

Installed Software

Package Version

Identifies the version number of the currently installed software package. The package version is the version of the Red Hat Package Manger (RPM) package already installed.

Compatibility Matrix Version

Identifies the package version of the currently installed compatibility matrix. The matrix version is usually the same as the package version unless you have staged a higher revision package.

Module

Identifies the name of a software or firmware module that is installed on the Oracle FS System.

Table 1 Software module types
Name	Description
Pilot OS	Operating system for the Pilot.
Pilot Software	Software that runs on the Pilot, such as the GUI interface and web server, online help, and Simple Network Management Protocol (SNMP).
Controller BIOS	Programmable ROM (PROM), which includes BIOS and netboot code, for the Controllers.
Controller Software	Software that manages the Controllers.
Drive Enclosures Firmware	Firmware for Drive Enclosures.

Version

Identifies the version number of a software module. A value of unsupported indicates there is a problem with the individual software module. Contact Oracle Customer Support for assistance.

Applies to Current Hardware (Support roles only)

Indicates that the affected hardware component uses the software module.

Note: The Applies to Current Hardware column is displayed only for user accounts set up with support role privileges.

Staged Software

Package Version: Identifies the version number of the currently installed software package. The package version is the version of the Red Hat Package Manger (RPM) package already installed.
Can Upgrade to Staged Version: Indicates that an upgrade path is available based on the installed software module version and the staged software package.
Upload Software Package: Permits you to select and upload a software update package. Software packages are downloaded from My Oracle Support (support.oracle.com). Contact Oracle Customer Support if assistance is needed.
