Display Software and Firmware Versions

Before performing an update of the Oracle FS System software and firmware, check the current version of the system software and firmware to ensure that you stage the correct package.

The following modules include version information:

Drive firmware and Enclosure (EBOD) Firmware in the Drive Enclosures
Application software and operating system in the Pilots
Controller software and Controller BIOS

Note:

For administrator accounts that have the Support or the Oracle Support role, the system displays complete packaging information, including the compatibility matrix for the software and firmware. For all other administrator accounts, the system displays only the release number of the software and firmware.

Navigate to Support > Software and Firmware.
The summary page displays the software and firmware packages currently installed on the Drive Enclosures, Drives, Pilots, and Controllers, as well as any staged software and firmware packages.
Verify that the current version of the installed system software and firmware to ensure that you stage the correct package.
You should stage a newer version of the software than the software that is installed.
