Delete a Clone LUN

You can delete a single Clone LUN when the clone is no longer needed.

When you delete a Clone LUN, only the target clone is deleted. When the target clone is the parent or source for other clones, the child clones are not deleted. Instead, the child clones become children of the next higher parent in the hierarchy.

Navigate to SAN > Storage > LUNs.
Select the Clone LUN that you want to delete.
Select Actions > Delete.
Note: The system displays the Delete LUN dialog. This dialog indicates that, if this clone is a parent or source of Clone LUNs, those Clone LUNs are not deleted.
To acknowledge that you want to delete the LUN, along with any clones and host mappings, select the option Delete LUNs and existing host mappings.
Click OK.
If the deleted Clone LUN has child clones, the child clones move up one level in the hierarchy of clones.
