Identify a Drive Enclosure

You can identify a specific Drive Enclosure. The system uses flashing LEDs to identify hardware components. In a crowded data center, the flashing LEDs allow you to locate the Drive Enclosure on which you want to perform maintenance.

1. Navigate to System > Hardware > Drive Enclosures.
2. Select a Drive Enclosure.
3. Select Actions > Identify.
   The Identify dialog is displayed.
4. Select one of the identification options.
5. Click Next.
6. Follow the instructions provided by Guided Maintenance to identify the hardware component.
7. Click Finish.
