Modify Auto-Tiered LUN: Define Data Protection

You can modify the allocated clone capacity and QoS properties for your auto‑tiered LUN and manage the data protection schedules.

1. Navigate to SAN > Storage > LUNs.
2. Select the LUN that you want to modify.
3. Select Actions > Modify.
4. Click the Data Protection tab.
5. Update the fields, as necessary.
6. (Optional) To create a Clone LUN data protection schedule, click Create.
   See the procedure for creating Clone LUNs on a scheduled basis.
7. (Optional) To update an existing data protection schedule, select the schedule from the Clone Schedules list and then click Modify.
   See the procedure for modifying the schedule for details.
8. (Optional) To remove an existing data protection schedule, select the schedule from the Clone Schedules list and then click Delete.
   Note: You are not prompted to confirm the removal of the data protection schedule.
9. To save your changes to the LUN, click OK.
