On the POS Configuration secondary tab, you can configure an employee’s location-specific POS security settings. These settings include employee class, cashier settings, employee privileges, and so on. For example, an employee who is a manager at one location and is a bartender at another location has different needs. As a manager, the employee needs access to cash drawers, but as a bartender, the employee does not need those privileges. Typically, these settings are performed at the POS. However, once an organization migrates to Labor Management, these options are no longer available at the POS.
