If staff requirements do not depend on individual forecast values, the Shift method can be used. For example, for jobs such as cashier, night cleaner, and so on shifts are assigned to every job category or job code. The shifts of the staff are defined per the job code. Only one driver governs the requirements: Net sales of the entire system for the entire business week.
