If the staff requirements do not depend on individual forecast values, the Fixed Resource method can be used. For example, for jobs such as cashier, night cleaner, and so on, shifts are assigned to every job category or job code. The staff requirements are defined as per the job category or job code for every day part of every day of the week. Only one driver governs the requirements: Net sales of the entire system for the entire business week.
