Setting Up the POS Keys for EM Locations

1. In the POS Configurator, click System, and then click External Programs.
2. Add a new External Program called Labor Management Time Clock, and then set the Working Directory to the directory where the TimeClock.exe is located.

   Oracle Hospitality recommends using MICROS Macros to set your directory. This ensures that all directory paths will be the same if you have Windows CE clients. For example,$(MICROS_DIR_ROOT)\RES\ MyBackoffice.

3. Set the Command Line to the TimeClock.exe setup file, and then click Save.

   For example, $(MICROS_DIR_ROOT)\ RES\ MyBackoffice\ TimeClock.exe

4. In the POS Configurator, click Devices, click Touchscreen Designer, and then select Sign In.
5. Click the Version folder icon and create a new version of that screen for Labor Management.
6. For the Clock In/Out button, update the Category to External Program and the Program to Labor Management Time Clock.
7. Repeat Steps 5 to 6 for all other touchscreens with clock in and clock out functionality, and then click Save.
