Creating a School Calendar and Assigning Vacation Days

Create school district calendars for every school district that you create. School calendars help to generate accurate schedules.
You can perform these steps only after creating school districts. You can also create school calendars in conjunction with creating a new school district.
  1. In Reporting and Analytics, click Labor Management, and then click Human Resources.
  2. In Human Resources Administration, click Admin, and then click School District.
  3. Select a school district and click Edit.
  4. Click the School District Calendars tab, and click Add.
  5. Enter a Name for the school district calendar, and select the School Year Start Date and theSchool Year End Date.
  6. (Optional) Select the School Day Stat Time and the School Day End Time.
  7. Click the Vacation Days tab, and click Add.
  8. Enter a Name for the vacation day. For example, Winter break, Columbus Day.
  9. Select the Vacation Start Date and Vacation End Date.
  10. (Optional) select the Vacation Start Time and Vacation End Time.
  11. Click Save.
