Creating a General Step Staffing Profile

  1. Select General Step as the Method when adding a job to a staffing profile, and then click Next.
  2. Select the job definition type you want to create, and then click Next:
    • Day Part: Select this option to add staffing requirements for each serving period.

    • Day: Select this option to add staffing requirements for an entire each day.

  3. Select the Duration of the day part or day, select whether the job definition has a Lead/Lag, and then enter the lead or lag duration.

  4. If you are creating a day part job definition and want to configure each day part separately, deselect Day Part.
  5. Select the revenue centers to which the job definition applies, and then specify whether the site will use one or two forecasting components to determine staff requirements:
    • One Staff Driver: Select this option to use one forecasting component.

    • Two Staff Driver: Select this option to use two forecasting components.

  6. In the Drivers section, select the Forecast Profile, Forecast Component, order types, and the menu items that apply to the job definition.

    You can assign individual menu items or entire family and major groups.

  7. In the Requirement section, enter the Standards value and the corresponding Required Labor Qty..
  8. If you want to add another standard and required labor quantity, click Add Row.
  9. Click Save.
