Creating Menu Item Master Records for Condiments

1. In the EMC, select the Enterprise, property, revenue center, or zone, click Configuration and Menu Item Maintenance.
2. Insert a new record and enter the condiment name (for example, Ham).
3. Search for and then double-click the new record
4. Insert a definition record and click the General sub-tab.
5. In the Name and Class section, select the Menu Item Class for the condiment. For example, if the condiment is Ham, select Deli Meat Class.
6. If this is a priced condiment:
   1. Click the Prices sub-tab, insert a price definition, and enter the Price for the condiment.
   2. If you want the price to become active at a specific menu level, select Active On Level and select the level.
7. Click Save.
8. Repeat Steps 2 through 6 to create menu item master records for all condiments.
