Adding a New Menu Item Using an Existing Menu Item as a Template

  1. Log in to the workstation and click the touchscreen button configured for the Hub function key.
  2. Click the tile configured for the Copy Menu Item manager function.
  3. Select a menu item that belongs to the same menu item class and print class that you want to assign to the new menu item, and click Copy Image.
  4. Configure the following details for the new menu item:

    Field or Option Name Description

    Menu Item Master Name

    Enter the new menu item name.

    Definition

    Select the appropriate menu item definition.

    If the menu item that you are using as the template has several definitions, all definitions appear in the list.

    Menu Item Definition Name

    Enter the name for the new menu item definition.

    Price

    Enter the menu item price.

  5. If you want to change the image for the menu item:
    1. Click Change Picture, and then click Browse Image.
    2. Select the new image and click Open.
  6. Click Add Menu, and then click OK to confirm the insertion.
