The RDCPlatformUpdate.zip file consists of two self-extracting zip files that are to be executed on an existing Client Application Loader (CAL) server.
Run the CALClientUpdate(4.1.3.66).exe.
This is a self-extracting zip file that contains the updated CAL client for both Remote Display Controller (RDC) models (GX and LX). This executable file creates the CAL package on the CAL server to deploy the CAL client to the RDC.
This is the same version of CAL client that ships with newer RCDs, so you may notice that the CAL package does not appear to update some RDCs.
Run the ClientOSUpdate(4.2.2.0).exe. Each of these CAL packages restarts the RDC several times during the update.
This is a self-extracting zip file that contains the updated RDC operating system image for both RDC models (GX and LX). This executable file creates the CAL package on the CAL server to deploy the operating system update to the RDC.
