Bar codes can be printed on itemised receipts to allow them to be read with a scanner later, to allow for re-print of the receipt or to void the receipt.
Prerequisite for bar code print on an itemised receipt is that the following parameters have been set:

Organisation -> Terminal -> Terminal type -> Add.data
Option "Bar code on receipt" must have been
activated.

Program Branch -> Details 2
In field "Receipt EAN Prefix" a 4-digit no.
must have been entered to ensure that the bar code for the receipt is given a
unique branch ID
3.
Program Branch -> EAN Parameter
The following EAN parameters must be set for the bar code print
Identification = 4-digit no.
identical to the number in Branch -> Details 2 in field "Receipt EAN Prefix".
Input length = 18
Simulates key = SCANNEDREC
Offset field 1 = 2
Length field 1 = 0
Offset field 2 = 0
Length field 2 = 18
Type field 2 = Other
