Example of an EAN code with item price

The table below shows the layout options for an EAN priced item.

Example EAN code with item price:

  • Identification    = 29
  • The EAN code of all priced articles in the company begins with the number sequence 29. When the label is scanned and the ID no. has been recognised, the system automatically recognises that this is a price item
  • Field 1
  • This is the item no. under which the item is stored in the system.
  • Field 2
  • This is the item price which is read from the EAN label.

In the example above an item with number 12355 and a price of 4,52 Euro is scanned.

Please note that this item must be programmed as an Open item in the system.

The following parameters must be set in program Application -> Organisation -> Branch -> EAN parameter:

  • Length field 1 = 5
  • Field 1 add zeroes = 0
