Installation G&D-Winkel (adapted solution)

• In the following, you will be informed about how to install a G&D Winkel (adapted solution). In an additional second step, you will find out how to configure a Winkel-specific payment type and assign it to the device.

Program Device

• Go to System -> Configuration -> Device.
• Select the Device type G&D Winkel.
• Select the installation and the processing unit to which you would like to assign the device.
• Enter a free Device no..
• Enter a descriptor.
• Assign a COM interface in the field Device Interface (COM 1, COM 2, COM A). It must not be occupied, otherwise there will be a device conflict.
• Do not make any entries in the other input fields. Accept the default values.
• Save the changes.
• Note:
  The changes you made will only be valid after you re-run the system.

Program Payment Type

• Go to Parameters -> Payments -> Payment Type.
• Select the company to which the Winkel payment type is to be assigned.
• Enter a free number in the field Payment Type.
• Enter a descriptor.
• Select the Category EFT.
• Select the Eft Type EFT 1.
• Enter “1” in the field Eft Data.
• Select the usual decimal digits for the currency.
• The other parameters are not to be edited.

Sub-Window Payment Parameter

• Open the sub-window Payment Parameter.
• Assign the new payment type to a terminal type.
• Determine the appropriate parameters, if necessary.
• Close the window Payment Parameter.
• Save your entries.
