Sign-off Functions – Short Notes

Break

Via the key code BREAK, the operator can sign off from the terminal system for a break. The POS terminal is blocked for any recordings during this time and no other cashiers can sign on.

If the POS operates in modes SS and F&B and PIN. enforced and a secret no. "> 0" have been parametered for the operator, the secret no. must be entered for re-sign-on. If the secret no = 0 and the operation mode is SS, a new secret no. is generated by the system for the break sign off and this is printed on the receipt. In this case, the new secret no. must be entered for the re-sign-on.

Intermediate Sign-off

Via the key code SIGNOFF, the operator can sign off from the terminal system if they want to sign on again at a later point of time. Another cashier can still book at this terminal. An intermediate sign-off with key code SIGNOFF is only possible in operation mode SS.

If the POS terminal operates in SS mode and PIN enforced and a secret no.
