Key Values
The
following program description deals with:
By
use of this program, the MICROS Retail OSCAR POS application provides you with the
opportunity to create preset keys (key code: fPNOTE)
for all payment types. As far as the booking at the terminal system is
concerned, you only have to press the appropriate key to book a pre-defined
value of the defined payment type, e.g. a cheque with the amount of EUR 400.00.
If you enter a value before pressing the key, it will become the multiplier of
the defined value. For example: 2 <cheque 400.00
EUR> = 2 * 400-EUR cheques.
The
program is to be started from the window Payment
Type via the button Key Values.
Note:
- By use of this program, you only define the value
assigned to a key. In addition, you have to create the corresponding key
via the window Keys, though (cp. field Payment Key No.).
- Preset keys of the payment type "Cash",
the bank note keys, are still created within the Keyboard
Configuration with the key code PMFIX.
Further descriptions on this topic can be found in the chapter Maintenance – Bank Note Keys.
