By use of this program you can maintain the data for the properties of the MICROS Retail OSCAR POS internet shop, i.e. create new data records, modify or delete existing data. You can also view already stored data for information purposes.
Attention!
All changes you make in this program
will only become effective in the MICROS Retail OSCAR POS internet shop after you have
transferred the changes to the shop by clicking on the button Shop Update.

This paragraph will provide a short overview over the options available for updating these Basic Data.
Just like in almost any other program:
Permitted input range: numeric, 1 - 9999
Enter the number of the company to which the internet shop is to be assigned. The company name will then be displayed on the right. This entry is mandatory.
If you do not know the number you can also select the data record via the Search Function.
Number 1 - 9999
Permitted input range: numeric, 1 - 99999
Enter the number of the internet shop.
Permitted input range: numeric, 1 - 99999
Enter the number of the branch to which the internet shop is to be assigned. The branch name will then be displayed on the right. This entry is mandatory.
If you do not know the number, you can also select the data record via the Search Function.
If the branch has not been created, yet, you can enter the update program Branch via the button on the right next to the arrow symbols and create the branch accordingly.
Permitted input range: alphanumeric, max. 32 chars.
Enter the name of the internet shop.
Permitted input range: alphanumeric, max. 32 chars.
Enter the name of the ODBC database source.
Permitted input range: alphanumeric, max. 32 chars.
Enter the path of the directory in which the image files are stored.
Permitted input range: decimal, max. 10 positions, max. 2 decimal digits
Enter an amount for the minimum purchase value of an internet customer.
A customer order in the MICROS Retail OSCAR POS internet shop will only be accepted when the amount entered here is reached or exceeded.
Activated: The
credit granted to the internet shop customer can be exceeded.
Deactivated: The credit granted
to the internet shop customer should not
be exceeded.
Activated: New
customers can register in the internet shop.
Deactivated: No new customers can
register in the internet shop. The creation of new customers can only be
carried out in the MICROS Retail OSCAR POS program.
Permitted input range: numeric, 1 - 9999
The button "Add. Data" takes you to another update mask where you have to assign the properties for the internet shop customers such as customer price level, promotion, group no. and customer type.
Permitted input range: numeric, 1 - 9999
Enter the number of the price list to be valid for the items of the MICROS Retail OSCAR POS internet shop.
If you do not know the number, you can also select the data record via the Search Function.
Field with firmly defined selection options
Select the desired item price level to be valid exclusively for customers who have activated the option Shop Customer Prices in the update program Internet Shop Customers. For customers of the internet shop for whom this option is deactivated, the price assigned in the field Normal Price Level is valid.
You can make the selection by clicking in the field and selecting the desired customer price level from the provided options.
The system offers you the following customer price levels for selection:

Select the desired price level to be valid for all customers of the MICROS Retail OSCAR POS internet shop. For internet shop customers for whom the option Shop Customer Price has been activated in the update program Internet Shop Customers, the item price assigned in the field Customer Price Level is valid.
You can make the selection by clicking in the field and selecting the desired customer price level from the provided options.
The system offers you the following normal price levels for selection:

Enter the number of the promotion to be assigned to the internet shop. The name of the promotion will then be displayed on the right. This entry is optional and not mandatory.
If you do not know the number, you can also select the data record via the Search Function.
Promotions are set up in the system via the update program Application -> Item -> Promotion.
Permitted input range: numeric, 1 - 9999
Enter the number of the promotion group to be assigned to the internet shop. The name of the promotion group will then be displayed on the right. This entry is optional and not mandatory.
If you do not know the number, you can also select the data record via the Search Function.
Promotion groups are set up in the system via the update program Application -> Item -> Promotion -> Groups.
Field with firmly defined selection options
Select one of the options provided to define which data is to be recorded with the communication between MICROS Retail OSCAR POS and the internet shop. This data is stored in the MICROS Retail OSCAR POS database and can be viewed by use of the update program Shop Properties -> Shop Transfer Protocol.
You can make the selection by clicking in the field and selecting the desired customer price level by use of another mouse click.
