The following program description deals with:
By use of this program, you can maintain the stock data for shrinkage and loss, i.e. create new data records, modify or delete existing data. You can also view already stored data for information purposes.
Attention:
Shrinkage can also be booked at the terminal if
the function "SHRINKAGE" has been set up for a key. Shrinkage
booked at the terminal can be closed at the administration terminal if it has
not been closed at the terminal by use of the function "SHRINKAGEC".
Proceed as follows to carry out shrinkage at the administration terminal:
Notes:
The Shrinkage is only
completed correctly after the button Execute has been clicked
on after saving.
Button: Execute
The shrinkage receives the state "Confirmed".
Note:
After you have confirmed a shrinkage, you can still
view the data but you cannot change it.
This paragraph will provide a short overview over the options available for updating these Basic Data.
Just like in almost any other program:
Permitted input range: numeric, 1 - 9999
Enter the number of the company for which you would like to edit a shrinkage. If you do not know the number, you can also select the data record via the Search Function.
Permitted input range: numeric, 1 - 9999
Enter the number of the branch for which you would like to edit a shrinkage. If you do not know the number, you can also select the data record via the Search Function.
Entry range permitted: numeric, 1 – 99
Enter the no. of the booking type which is to be linked here. If the number is not known the data record can be selected via the Search function.
The following is offered:
Shrinkage types are updated in program Parameter -> Beverages supermarket -> Shrinkage type gepflegt.
Permitted input range: numeric, 1 - 99999999
When creating a new shrinkage, confirm this field with key <Enter>. During the subsequent storage process, the system will generate the lowest free number automatically.
For modifications or deletions, call the data record by entering the number stored in the system.
If you do not know the number, you can also use the Search Function.

This field is blocked for entry of an operator no. as the system displays the number of the signed-on operator.
The operator has to be created via the program Operator and authorized to use this program before being able to carry out a shrinkage.
Permitted input range: numeric, 1 - 9999
Enter the no. of the stock for which the shrinkage is to be updated.
If you do not know the number, you can also select the data record via the Search Function.
Permitted input range: numeric, 1 - 9999
Enter the number of the profit center for which the shrinkage is to be maintained.
If you do not know the number, you can also select the data record via the Search Function.
Permitted input range: numeric, 1 - 99999999
Another operator’s no. can be entered in this field to allow shrinkage to be recorded for this operator.
The operator must have been programmed under Operator.
Permitted input range: alphanumeric, max. 40 chars.
You can enter a free text describing the shrinkage.
Permitted input range: DDMMYYYY (day, month, year)
Displays the date of the shrinkage. This field can be edited manually.
Permitted input range: HHMMSS (hour, minute, second)
Displays the time of the shrinkage. This field can be edited manually.
Button activated:
"Shrinkage" was recorded in training mode.
Button deactivated: "Shrinkage" was not
recorded in training mode.
Note:
If this option is activated in an empty screen mask and if key "F4"
is depressed all shrinkage recorded in training mode will be displayed.
Note:
This option will be automatically activated if a shrinkage was done by an
operator in training mode recorded on the till. In that case the
operator can carry out all recording functions of shrinkages at the till
but no changes of stock values will be recorded.
Button activated: Offline
transactions for the PDA has been created for this shrinkage.
Button deactivated:. No offline transactions for the PDA has been
created for this shrinkage.
Note:
Shrinkages should be generally created at the backoffice before they will send
to the PDA as offline transaction.
