CCTV camera server installation

The video sequences recorded by the CCTV server can be viewed in a video window in program Application -> Sales -> Receipt transactions via button "Video" for every receipt transaction stored in the terminal.

The following requirements must be complied with for video surveillance at a checkout:

• IIS (Internet Information Server) must be installed.
• Installation of hardware and software suitable for an external CCTV server (closed circuit tele vision) made by Quadrox to look after 1 to 8 cameras.
  The Quadrox software must be installed on the camera server which can be the same processor as the MICROS Retail OSCAR POS server.
• After installation, the camera function can be checked with Internet Explorer by calling up address "http://IP-Adressse CCTV-Server/guardNVR/".
• The camera ID (GUID) then has to be found with the help of the HTML file " get_cameras_from_unit.htm". This GUID must be stated in program Application -> Organisation -> Terminals -> Add.data in field ID, with the {.} in brackets, e.g {CB1FC757-DF12-4E81-B804-AEC4C3A3BB55}.
  The result is also shown in field: CamInfo_localhost.htm .
• The pop-up blocker must be switched off on the PC on which the video view tool is to run in future (MICROS Retail OSCAR POS Admin Client).
• ActiveX elements must be permitted in the browser.
• The environment variable "MICROS Retail OSCAR POS-OPTIONS= CCTVInterf" must be set in file "oscar.ini".

• Various files must be available in directory \usr\oscar\qviewer:
  qviewer.htm
  qviewer.vbs
  Sub-Dir activex
  Sub-Dir images
• The two variables "sLogin =" "sPassword =" must be adjusted in file "qviewer.htm": The login and password entries are the data for the CCTV server.
• In program Application -> Organisation -> Terminals -> Add.data the data for the CCTV-Server must be entered via button CCTV Server No. The IP address of the CCTV server must be stated (NOT the IP address of the camera).
  The play time of the video is the whole time of the video sequence to be shown.
  The time spacing is the spacing/review of in how many seconds the video VOR transaction end is to be started.
