Configuration of the Quantity Unit "Kilogramm" and the Base Unit "Gramm"

In the following, you will be informed about how to configure the quantity unit Kilogram (Unit no. 2; only an example, the number can be selected at will) and the base unit Gram (unit no. 12, this number can be chosen at will, too) on which the quantity unit is based.

Go to Application -> Item -> Quantity Units.

• Assign a company.
• Unit: 12
• Descriptor: Kilogramm
• Abbreviation: kg
• Base unit: 2/Gramm
• Open the window Base Unit.
• Unit: 12
• Descriptor: Gramm
• Abbreviation: g
• Base Unit: no entry
• Contents: 1000
• Decimal Digits: 0
• Save your entries.
• Close the window to return to the window Quantity Unit.
• Contents: 1000
• Decimal Digits: 3
• Save your entries.
• Close the window.
