Run with advanced options for ad hoc and standard reports

Time and mode

Specifies when to generate the report:

• View the report now —Run the report immediately.
• Run in the background —Specify whether to run the report immediately, or at a scheduled time.

  Selecting Run in the background :

  • Gives you access to additional HTML formats.
  • Allows you to set additional PDF formatting preferences.
  • Specifies the delivery mechanism:
    • Save the report, or save the report as a report view. Allows you to edit the options.
    • Send a link to the report by email. Allows you to edit the options.

Format

Specifies the delivery format for the report output.

• HTML —Allows you to specify:
  • Number of rows per web page.
  • Whether to enable selection-based interactivity.
• PDF —Allows you to specify:
  • Orientation
  • Paper size
• Excel 2007
• Excel 2007 Data
• Excel 2002
• Delimited text (CSV)
• XML

  Note: CSV and XML formats are only available for ad hoc reports, and are not supported for standard reports.

Accessibility

Allows you to enable or disable accessibility support.

Note: Enabling accessibility support creates report output that can be read by a screen reader.

Language

Specifies the language in which to produce the report output.

Prompt values

Specifies the range of data that is included in a report.
