Purpose: Use this window to confirm that one or more items on a delivery or pickup order have been picked.
Multiple orders? If you click Pick at bottom of the View Orders Ready for Picking Screen after selecting one or more orders, this window is entitled Pick Multiple Orders.
Click Pick: When you click Pick at this window, this:
• Confirms that one or more requested items on the order or orders have been picked and are ready for shipment (delivery order) or pickup (pickup order)
• Generates the Packing Slip, if the system administrator has selected the preference to generate these documents at pick verification, or if you select the Print Pack Slip? option at the Pick Order Window
• Changes the Next Action for the order(s) or item(s) from Pick to Pick Up (for pickup orders) or Ship (for delivery orders)
• Generates a notification to the customer that the order is ready for pickup, if it is a pickup order and isn’t Under Review
Click Pick and Ship: When you click Pick and Ship at this window, this performs the updates described above when you click Pick, plus:
• Confirms that you have shipped the order
• Closes the order and removes it from all Store Connect order processing screens
• Typically, either Store Connect or the originating system generates a shipment notification email, depending on configuration
Note: The Pick and Ship option is available only for a single delivery order that isn’t Under Review.
Print Pack Slip? Select this option before clicking Pick or Pick and Ship to generate a Packing Slip for the items that you are verifying as picked.
Note: The Print Pack Slip? option is available only if the packing slip isn’t generated automatically when you Pick the items on an order.
Cancel: Click Cancel to return to the previous screen without confirming the items on the order as picked.
How to display this window: Click Pick or Pick Order for an order or item at the:
• View Orders Ready for Picking Screen
• Pick Order Detail - Item Screen
The Next Action for the item or order must be Pick.
