Order Summary Print Program (K31)

Purpose: Use this screen to define the program that prints the order summary.

Important: The Order Summary is not currently implemented.

System name: Enter the program name to print the Order Summary through Working with Pick/Pack Verification (WPPV). The default graphical pack slip print program is ORDERSUMG and the default non-graphical program is ORDERSUM.

Why use the order summary? You can generate the order summary through Working with Pick/Pack Verification (WPPV) to provide a listing of all the items shipping on the pick slip in a somewhat simpler format than the pick slip itself; for example, the order summary does not include information such as item messages or warehouse locations. The order summary also indicates how many cartons were used for the shipment. The pack slip, which is the other document you can print within pick pack verification, includes only the items packed in an individual carton, rather than all of the items shipped.

Generated when? The system generates the order summary when you complete entry of a pick slip at the Pick Pack Verification Screen, provided there is a valid print program specified in this system control value. The order summary opens in a separate browser window while you are working in pick pack verification; it is not necessary to go to the Forms Management screen to print it.

Leave this field blank if you do not want to print the order summary.
