Block Super Search

OPERA has incorporated an intuitive Super Search engine to retrieve alloted blocks. This main search field uses attribute keywords relevant to the block, and displays the search results in Text or Table view. The more unique to the block the search criteria (such as the Block Name, Block Code, Block ID number), the more focused the results. Separate search criteria with single spaces. (Please see the "Block Super Search Criteria List" below for more search attributes.)

The list of results provides a quick view of each block's current status and block duration, with selectable indicator icons for checking things such as the block's room/rate grid, traces, or notes. This list also serves as an entryway for accessing existing blocks -- just select the Block Code to go to the Block's screen.

A button below the search field labeled "I want to..." reveals a menu with choices for creating a new block or selecting a shortcut to one of the recently viewed blocks.

Block Super Search

Note: By default, the Super Search (Main Search) performs its search on all properties to which the user has access. To filter results by a Property, use the Super Search and add the Property's Code to your search criteria, separated by single space (such as OPERA Smith to search in the OPERA property for guest Smith).

Also note that if there is one property already entered in the Advanced Search's Property field, the Super Search will use that property as a search criteria and filter the results

Block Super Search Criteria List

The following are some common block attributes whose values can be used in the Block Super Search as criteria. Separate multiple keywords with a single space (such as Taggent Naples). Partial words or numbers are also accepted (such as dtaggent@). Use two-digit format for dates (such as MM/DD/YY or MM-DD-YY, as your property date format is set).

Searches are not case sensitive. The more complete the information and the more criteria you enter, the more refined your search results will be.
