Making a Guest Profile Private

By default, profiles are not private until marked as private. You can prevent a guest profile from appearing in central reservations systems or other properties within a chain or multi-property configuration. Use OPERA Controls and Security tasks to enable marking a profile as private.

To enable an Action on the Manage Profile screen for marking a profile private or not private:

  1. Open OPERA Controls. In the Profiles group, set the View Profiles Created in Hubs parameter to On.
  2. Open Security. In the Client Relations group, place a check in the check box for Mark/Unmark Profile as Private.
