Packages Items Jump - Reservations
Packages are a pre-determined combination of rooms with other amenities that can be sold separately or included in the rate. Packages that are included in the rate are added when the rate is chosen while making the reservation. Packages that are designated as "sell separate" can be added to a reservation while creating the reservation as an enhancement or upsell in the Look To Book > Book Now screen, or they can be added after the reservation has been booked using the Packages Jump in the Reservation screen.
The Packages jump displays the packages that are attached to the reservation (whether included in the rate, or sold separately). You can also edit, delete (add on package only), or attach a new package to the reservation from this jump.

What are Package Groups and how are they handled?

The Packages jump manages and displays the packages attached to this reservation. The "Total line' counts the number of packages that are attached to the reservation, whether included in the rate or sold separately. Packages that are combined and sold as a group are counted as individual packages (see Package Groups below). |
Packages Jump Screen
The Summary section lists the package or package components that are attached. If associated with a rate code, that rate code also displays here. |

The Details section displays details about the package, including the quantity and when the package is posted. You can also add a New package, or Edit or Delete (if not attached by rate code) an existing package. |

This section displays the reservation's calendar, itemizing the package per night. Package details include the number of packages attached with the line item pricing detail. Select the View Details link to see the package information for that night, or to edit the price. |

The Details screen shows the Package name, effective date, pricing, and how the package is billed out (i.e., included in the rate, added to the rate as a separate line item, etc.). The price is editable. If you edit the price here it only affects this night's package price. |
