Working with Item Cycles (WICY)
Item cycle codes are used to select groups of items periodically for physical inventory. You can assign these codes using the Cycle field in the Item file. The Generate Physical Inventory Screen enables the user to enter up to 10 cycle codes to be counted. You must pre-define these codes in the Item Cycle Code file.
The system will pre-load this file with the following maintainable codes:
• W = Weekly
• M = Monthly
• Q = Quarterly
• B = Biannually
• A = Annually

Create a new item cycle |
Press F6 to advance to the Create Item Cycle Screen. |
Change an item cycle |
Enter 2 next to a code to advance to the Change Item Cycle Screen. |
Delete an item cycle |
Enter 4 next to a code to delete it. |
Display an item cycle |
Enter 5 next to a code to advance to Display Item Cycle Screen. |
To create: At the Work with Item Cycles Screen, press F6.

To change: Enter 2 next to an item at the Work with Item Cycles Screen to advance to the Change Item Cycle screens. At this screen you can change any information except the item cycle. See Create Item Cycle Screen for field descriptions.
To display: Enter 5 next to a code at the Work with Item Cycles Screen to advance to the Display Item Cycle screen. You cannot change any information on this screen. See the Create Item Cycle Screen for field descriptions.
